Special winder for screen and felt production

For a customer in the screen and felt manufacturing sector, Mecabride developed a fully customised winder featuring an exceptional roll length of 12.3 m. The project was marked by close collaboration: while the customer provides the complete control system, Mecabride is responsible for the full CE documentation, including risk assessment, operating manual and conformity evaluation. The result is a tailor-made and fully compliant machine solution delivered from a single source.

Turning device for steel and stainless steel sheets

For a high-end industrial door manufacturer, we developed a custom-designed sheet metal turning device, equipped with an integrated roller conveyor and a downstream, pneumatically tilting table on ball-rollers. This special machine is part of a new, fully automated, production line for manipulation for sheet metal plates of various sizes. It significantly improves operator ergonomics and safety at the workstation, as well as the throughput.

Dual-axis manipulator for high-pressure cleaning booth

For a customer in the aerospace industry, we developed a 2-axis manipulator to clean high-precision cast iron components. The system replaces an outdated system and meets the most stringent requirements for mechanical robustness and reliability. During operation of the high-pressure water jet, the manipulator allows complex-shaped components to be properly clamped, effectively removing ceramic residues, which served as a mold during the casting process. Mechanical optimization not only increases service life, but also improves process reliability and user comfort.
		
**Technical data:**

- Made entirely of 1.4307 stainless steel for maximum corrosion resistance, as it is used in very humid environments
- Waterproof design, ideal for use in high-pressure cleaning cabinets
- Pneumatic clamping system, allowing castings to be securely fixed
- Tilting range up to 180° for flexible positioning

Folding machine – medical covers

This installation was integrated into an existing production line at the customer's site and is used for cross-folding non-woven cloths.

Parallel Press

This machine was designed as a hydraulic press to press galvanized steel profiles into a wooden panels. The press has an automatic feeding table that allows the operator to prepare the various elements in safety, outside of the pressing area.

8-axis manipulator

Development of an 8-axis manipulator for industrial radiology (non-destructive testing technology). A complete package: From planning through production to final assembly in Dubai, this project was supervised by our engineering office and technicians.

Pinch rolls

This unit is used to distribute an oil film in a sheet metal processing line. The machine consists of a stable chassis on which 2 rubberized rollers are guided. The lower roller is fixed in the working position, while the upper roller serves as a pressure roller and exerts an adjustable force on the sheet via 2 pneumatic cylinders to distribute the oil evenly.

Scuff machine

This prototype was developed specifically for a manufacturer of floor coverings and is used to simulate long-term stress caused by a shoe sole. The test specimen is rubbed over the sample with a straight pneumatic movement and a defined pressing force.

Rewinder

The system was developed to unwind, cut (longitudinal) and rewind non-woven products. At the same time, the machine was designed so that the customer can now check, cut and rewind damaged rolls. The machine is also equipped by an edge control system which makes it capable rewind correctly rolls that have been wound badly on the production machine.

Tipping and storage rack IBC container

For reasons of fire protection and cost-effectiveness, this storage rack was designed for 3 IBC containers.
		
**Technical facts:**

- Pneumatic tilting movement to completely empty the containers.
- 600 mm pneumatic travel for changing containers.

Feed table

This feed table is used to introduce small, thin-walled stainless steel pipes into an existing production facility. Installing the table significantly increased customer's productivity and operator's ergonomics at this point.

- Tilting movement using a screw jack

- Clamping system to prevent the stainless steel pipes from twisting
